You have two payment options when purchasing this course.

1) Pay the full amount of your course now. This can be done via Paypal, credit/debit card or bank deposit.

OR

2) Pay a deposit of 50% of the course cost now and the remaining 50% before the start of your course. This option can be done by selecting the Bank Deposit option at checkout.

Note: Your course booking won't be confirmed until we receive either the 50% deposit or the full payment amount. If you choose to pay via Bank Deposit, our bank account details will be provided on the order confirmation page and also via the 'View your order' link in your order confirmation.

Note: If you cancel your booking and are entitled to a refund, fees will be deducted from your refund amount based on your method of payment, as outlined below:

  • Bank Deposit: No fee
  • Credit/Debit Card: 1.8%
  • ShopPay: 1.8%
  • PayPal: 2.7%

Our 2-Day Intro Course is ideal for anyone interested in learning how to paraglide or paramotor, without committing to a full course straight away.

The 2-Day Intro Course is held on the first two days of our Learn To Paraglide / Learn To Paramotor courses. 

The two days generally cover the basics of paragliding, including:

  • GEAR: Learn how to set up and use the gear (harness, lines, wing).
  • SIMULATOR: This is where you'll get a first feel of what it's like being in the harness.
  • GROUND HANDLING: Learn fundamental 'kiting' skills and how to respond to your glider.
  • TANDEM FLIGHT: Used to give you supervised, hands-on experience of flight control (weather permitting).
  • SOLO FLIGHT: Your first solo flights will be from our privately-leased training hill or from one of our low coastal headlands (weather permitting).

If, after attending the 2-Day Intro Course, students would like to book onto our Learn To Paraglide course or our Learn To Paramotor course, the cost of the 2-Day Intro Course will be deducted from the full course cost. 

Students joining our Learn To Paraglide course or our Learn To Paramotor course after completing the 2-Day Intro Course have the option of attending Days 1 & 2 again, or starting from Day 3.
