• Minimum age is 11 years (no maximum age limit!).
• Weight range is between 30 - 120kg.
• Basic fitness and good general health are required for safety.
• Passengers are required to walk up to 300m along the beach (3-5mins) to get to the launch area. Then on take-off, passengers are required to walk briskly for approximately 4 - 5 steps.
• If you are unsure whether you meet the requirements, contact us for an individual assessment.

We are located at the end of Wangetti Beach Road:

• 2min drive from Rex Lookout and Hartley's Crocodile Adventures.
• 30min drive from Port Douglas.
• 40min drive from Cairns.

On arrival, please make your way to the beach.

Car parking is available for those making their own way.

For our Full Day Adventure Combo:

• Morning pick-up from Cairns City at 8am or Palm Cove at 8:30am (specific pick-up location will be advised at least 24hrs prior to pick-up).
• Return departure from High Adventure Paragliding at 5pm (timing may be flexible depending on when tandem flights have been completed).
• The pick-up time for the transfer between Hartley's and High Adventure will be set on the day based on allocated tandem flight times.

Return transfers from Port Douglas may be possible - please contact us to check availability.

Optional FREE return transfers from Cairns City, Palm Cove and Trinity Beach are available for passengers (if required).

Two timing options are available depending on tandem flight times.

1) Morning pick-up: Suitable for tandem flights at 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm. Pick-up times and locations are noted below. Return departure from Wangetti Beach will be around 3pm.

• Cairns City - 10:55am - Double Tree by Hilton (121-123 Esplanade)

2) Afternoon pick-up: Suitable for tandem flights at 2:30pm, 3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm. Pick-up times and locations are noted below. Return departure from Wangetti Beach will be around 5:30pm.

• Cairns City - 1:20pm - Opposite Reef Hotel Casino (34 Esplanade)
• Cairns City - 1:25pm - Double Tree by Hilton (121-123 Esplanade)

Booking is required - please choose the relevant pick-up option and pick-up time/location when making your booking. Failure to do so may result in transport being unavailable.

You must arrive at your pick-up point 10 minutes before the meet time to avoid missing your transport.

If you organise alternative transport, we recommend allowing ample buffer time to account for potential weather delays. We suggest allowing at least 60 - 90mins for your experience. Missed transportation due to weather is not eligible for compensation.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time.

On arrival, please make your way to the beach.

Flight times average 15 - 20mins.

• Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day. Perhaps a long sleeved top or a light jacket as it may be cooler at higher altitudes.
• Wear enclosed footwear (e.g. running shoes).
• We recommend wearing sunglasses and applying sunscreen.

Unfortunately personal cameras and phones are not permitted during the flight. A video package is available if you would like to capture your experience.

Your friends and family are welcome to come along and take photos and videos as you prepare for your flight.

Tandem flights are weather dependent so there may be delays to your flight or changes to your booking if weather conditions change or are unsuitable for flying. We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and flexibility should this situation arise – the weather is out of our control and your safety is our top priority.

We recommend customers organise their transportation with ample buffer time to account for potential weather delays. We suggest allowing at least 60-90mins from your booking time to allow for the signing of all documentation, pre-flight briefing, possible weather-related delays and actual flying time. Missed transportation due to weather is unfortunately not eligible for compensation.

If we cannot fly due to weather (or other unforeseen circumstances) we will reschedule your flight free of charge.

Before flying, all passengers must sign an insurance waiver and SAFA (Sports Aviation Federation of Australia) registration form. This is done electronically on site with your tandem pilot. Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian present to sign the insurance waiver on their behalf. Refusing to complete the waiver will result in the cancellation of the flight and no refund will be given.

• If you need to change or cancel your flight, at least 24 hours' notice is required.
• If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of your flight time, your payment will be forfeited.
