Our tours are all about unforgettable experiences and even more unforgettable friendships!

Let's break down what you can expect from our General and Advanced Tours in Bali.

The General Tour in Nusa Dua

Our General Paragliding Tour is perfect for pilots looking to log more supervised flying hours and refine fundamental skills. We operate this tour in Nusa Dua, famous for its breath-taking coastal scenery.

The Experience:

Flying Location: We fly at the Riug Paragliding site, a fantastic spot for soaring and practicing top landings. The magical winds and 12km stretch of the Bukit Peninsula, all the way from Nusa Dua to Uluwatu, make the flying here unforgettable. You'll witness Bali's beauty from a perspective few ever get to see. There's plenty space to relax in the shade in between flights, and food/drinks are available.

Flying Time: We typically start flying around lunchtime, and conditions are often suitable for flying into the early evening. You'll get ample time in the air to practice your skills and soak in the incredible views, with pilots usually racking up several hours of flying and many flights per day. You’re welcome to come and go throughout the afternoon as you please, making it easy to fly when it suits you.

Guidance & Skill Development: This tour focuses on getting you more comfortable and proficient both on the ground and in the air. You'll receive expert guidance from our Chief Flight Instructor, David Wainwright, and you'll work on essential skills like:

  • Ground handling: Mastering control of your paraglider before you launch.
  • Launching: Perfecting smooth and controlled launches in moderate winds.
  • Top landings: Practicing precise landings and ‘touch and go’ flights.
  • Manoeuvres: Receive guidance on effective soaring strategies and the basics of some advanced manoeuvres such as wingovers.

The Advanced Tour in Candidasa

For pilots keen to explore more advanced skills, our Advanced Paragliding Tour in Candidasa offers an unparalleled opportunity for skill development. Capped at 8 pilots, this tour is a great way to receive tailored instruction on more complex manoeuvres.

The Experience:

Flying Location: Candidasa boasts an incredible coastal hill launch site, approximately 100 meters above sea level, allowing for flights at altitudes of up to 1000 meters. This provides ample space and ideal conditions to soar among the clouds and truly breathtaking views. There are various beach landing spots available: at the base of the mountain, Virgin Beach or in front of the Puri Oka Beach Bungalow resort.

Flying Time: The flying conditions usually come on between 10am-12pm and can last until sunset, offering an amazing opportunity for extended soaring and skill practice. You can stay in the air as long as you like, with pilots often flying for up to 3-4 hours in a single flight each day. During this time, pilots take turns practicing advanced skills, receiving 1:1 radio-assisted guidance.

Advanced Skill Development: This tour is ideal for pilots with a solid foundation who are ready to learn and finesse advanced skills under the expert instruction of our Chief Flight Instructor, David Wainwright. You'll receive daily briefings on advanced skills and techniques, and 1:1 tailored in-flight guidance as you practice manoeuvres. Advanced skills covered include:
