The Paramotoring (Wheelbase) Endorsement is a 3 day course suitable for SAFA licensed paraglider pilots (minimum PG4 rating) who are looking to adapt their skills to paramotoring. Led by world-class paramotoring champion, David Wainwright, our paramotor courses are considered one of the best in Australia and will give pilots the knowledge and practical skills to paramotor safely and confidently.

Prerequisites:

  • Hold Min PG4 Paragliding Licence
  • Hold a VHF Radio Operators Endorsement
  • OR
  • Hold a valid SAFA Foot Launch Powered Paraglider Certificate 
  • Hold a VHF Radio Operators Endorsement

Requirements to satisfy licence issue on course completion:

  • Minimum 15 flights (powered)
  • Minimum 8hrs total flying time
  • 1 x 30min cross-country flight
  • Successful and competent demonstration of all required skills and techniques in light and moderate conditions, as set out in the SAFA training manual
  • Successfully pass theory exam

Training Days

This endorsement typically takes 3 days to complete, however the course is run during the final 5 days of our Learn To Paramotor courses to allow for adverse weather conditions.

If students do not satisfy the requirements for licence issue within 5 days (excluding due to weather restrictions), students will be required to complete additional training at an additional cost. Additional training is charged on a per day basis, as noted below: 

For paramotoring endorsements:  

  • Day Rate (High Adventure Gear): $490
  • Day Rate (Student’s Own Gear): $390

You have two payment options when purchasing this course.

1) Pay the full amount of your course now. This can be done via Paypal, credit/debit card or bank deposit.

OR

2) Pay a deposit of 50% of the course cost now and the remaining 50% before the start of your course. This option can be done by selecting the Bank Deposit option at checkout.
