Enjoy the freedom of powered paragliding. Just imagine a powered aircraft that can take off in a few meters, fly for 3- 4 hrs using only 4 litres of fuel per hour. Then when you are done, in less than 5 minutes your motor is packed up and back in the boot of your car.
In our courses we teach you in smooth coastal air, along our long pristine beaches. You cannot beat the beach air for learning in, it’s smooth all day. At High Adventure we also teach on the latest and lightest gear, not some heavy old worn out 2 stroke that takes 10 goes to get started and will wear you out!
Any licensed paragliding pilots of an Intermediate level can undertake the SAFA Paramotoring Endorsement course that we offer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEMENT
High Adventure Pty Ltd Paragliding and Paramotoring will always work hard to fulfil your training and goals, but sometimes it is best to have a few simple things written down so that we both know what is what.
These ‘Terms and Conditions’ apply to all of our courses, tours and equipment sales, please read carefully before enrolling, ordering and paying.
PARAGLIDING AND PARAMOTORING COURSES
You can book your place in our courses by checking out through our ‘Online Store’ or via email : email@example.com
To secure your place in a course, a deposit must be placed and the course date nominated. Deposits can be made via the ‘online shop’ by PayPal and Direct
Debt or arranged by email to be made over the phone with Visa/Mastercard or Direct Debt.
HGFA Student Membership must be taken out by any students prior to undertaking their HGFA ‘Restricted’ licence training. The cost of the insurance is $28 and it not included in the Advertised course fees. From 2016 Students are required to take out the Insurance themselves, rather than the school doing so on their behalf. It also saves time having this done prior to your arrival at the school. The fee is payable directly to the HGFA through their website.
The HGFA Student membership is Valid for 12 months.
Details on the HGFA Membership, enrolment forms and course information will be emailed to you prior to the course. Generally on receipt of your course deposit.
The HGFA Student Membership gives you $20,000,000 ‘Public Liability Insurance’. You need this cover to legally fly in Australia and participate in any training under a licenced Flight (Paragliding and Paramotoring) Training Facility.
All students will be required to sign the HGFA ‘Indemnity and Assumption of Risk Waiver’ prior to course participation or tandem flight. This form will be emailed to you before you arrive or you can find it through the HGFA Website.
Minimum age is 16 years, (with parents consent) to learn to Paraglide
The maximum weight for Paragliding Students is 120kg
All of our paragliding and paramotoring courses must be completed within 12 months of starting your initial training. After this time ‘Course’ tuition will expire. Please make arrangements with us prior to the 12 months to avoid/extend the course expiry and to avoid paying any additional fees to complete your course.
We rely on good weather conditions for the safe progression of an individuals flight training. The Instructors decision to fly or not is final. Certain experiences are subject to weather conditions. If in the event the experience is cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, an alternative booking will be made available.
When you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please note the cancellation policy before committing to booking a place in our courses.
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential students or closed off courses of people who has already booked and who then cancel. However, we are human, and we understand that plans change and that life gets in the way – and that’s why we offer several options on how to change/cancel your reservation.
The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the price of your paragliding course, as shown below.
If you wish to cancel your scheduled course, a minimum of 30 days notice applies prior to start date.
In the event of a cancellation up to 30 days prior to the scheduled date, we will offer you a full refund.
If you cancel your reservation within 29 days before of the scheduled course training date, you will forfeit your deposit. You are also welcome to transfer to another course date.
If you cancel within 14 days of the course training date, a cancellation charge of 25% of total price will be charged. You are also welcome to transfer to another course date.
If you cancel your reservation within 7 days of the scheduled course, a cancellation charge of 50% of total price will be made. Please discuss the option of moving to another course date.
If you do not cancel, but you fail to arrive without notification, you agree that 50% of the total price be charged.
You are welcome to move your training dates. We ask that you do this at least 2 weeks prior to your course training so that we can open your position up to other students. Anything after that will be on a case by case basis. Again we are human (also parents), so we understand that things HAPPEN! Please keep in contact with us should anything come up that looks like it may prevent you from coming. Thanks for your understanding.
All requests for cancellations must be received in writing by email at learn@Highadventure.com.au. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by return email. If you are at all concerned, please call Johanna on 0409221974.
WEATHER CONDITIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS TO TRAINING
We choose to locations and sites that give us near perfect conditions year round, but of course as with any activity dependent on Nature, there are risks of strong winds or other unsuitable weather conditions and High Adventure Pty Ltd. reserves the right to cancel flying at any time. Please be sure that you fully understand this.
CREDIT VOUCHERS – COURSE CREDITS
LEARN TO PARAGLIDE $400 CREDIT
Any student booking a Learn to Paraglide course in Australia or a learn to Paraglide in Bali course with High Adventure is entitled to a $400 Credit voucher. This credit voucher is redeemable against the purchases of a ‘Paragliding Gear Set’. A paragliding Gear set consists of 1 (one) new Paraglider and 1 (one) new Harness.
The gear can be purchased prior to undertaking your training and used as the students ‘Personal’ training kit during training. If the Glider and Harness are purchased after completion of the course, then equipment will be provided by High Adventure during the students training.
With the exception of combining with the 10% GST rebate issued at the Airport on departure (for Students undertaking training in Bali), the $400 Discount may not be combined with any other offers, discounts or gift vouchers.
The $400 discount can not be accumulated or applied retroactively to previously placed orders/courses unless otherwise agreed.
Discounts apply to the product value and exclude the delivery charge for gliders and harnesses.
Different ‘discounts’ cannot be added in a single purchase. A single discount is applied to each purchase. Only one $400 discount may be used per ‘Paraglider Gear Set’. A paragliding Gear set consists of 1 (one) new Paraglider and 1 (one) new Harness.
Discounts may not be redeemed for cash or transferred.
The $400 credit can not redeemed to buy a sole product even if the price of the single product is greater than “Paragliding Gear Kit”
If you have other discount vouchers – the single highest discount applies (discounts are exclusive of each other and cannot be accumulated).
Different Vouchers cannot be added in a single purchase. A single voucher is applied to each purchase.
Any Free add-ons that may be offered during the Bali course – such as ‘tandem experience flights for partners’ for are not redeemable as cash or credit. They are not transferable. Only one ‘Partner’ Tandem Experience per person.
Prices are subject to change without notice. If you have booked a course – you have booked on that price and it is NOT subject to change.
All prices quoted are GST Inclusive.
Courses conducted outside of Australia are not subject to GST
Products exported to international clients are GST exempt
