The Ascent4 combines the high level of security of a typical EN-A glider with a good portion of fun to let the pilot thrive on safety and comfort. Due to the nice handling and the well-balanced combination of performance and agility, the Ascent 4 is not only a beginner glider but also the right partner for experienced, safety driven pilots.
The new UP Lhotse (EN B) sits between the UP Kibo and the UP Summit XC Series in the UP model range – but as a lightweight hike&fly and adventure glider it is so much more than just a new mid-level EN B wing!
Flying in winter can be great, but only when the fingers aren’t coming off. And spring thermals take you higher, where the exact same problems occur – it gets uncomfortably cold for the fingers. So we made a glove for this time of year, in a membrane design and a stylish look.
Harnesses keep growing, and the demands to the glider bags as well. We have responded to this development and made an entirely new bag that will accomodate all your kit AND be great to carry. Available in Small, Medium and Large, for everything from alpine to tandem use.
The “Baltoro” jacket is sewn from a water resistant dual-layer laminate fabric with a breathable membrane and sports welded seams. It is internally lined with mesh to improve moisture transport. When not in use, the entire jacket fits inside the adjustable hood.
The combo consists of jacket and pants which may be buttoned together. Meaning you can dress and undress in complete ease. The “Baltoro” jacket and “Khumbu” pants are sewn from a water resistant dual-layer laminate fabric with a breathable membrane and sports welded seams. The Khumbu pants have full-length zippers along the exterior, to allow putting them on even with big boots.
A tandem that really does handle like solo wing – and that from the moment you touch the risers to launch it and until you and your happy passenger are back on the ground; if it wasn’t for the clicking noise from the camera you could be excused for forgetting that the passenger is even there!
