This course will give you the advantage of being well advanced in soaring and top landings. Last year 5 students in one group achieved 15 - 20 hours of solo flight in 7 days which is way beyond the License requirements, as the Novice licence requires just 1 hour and 30 flights. Most courses in Australia only achieve 1 - 5 hours in a 9 day program, but due to the trade winds that blow all day and night in Bali allows such flight time to be achieved. Also Top Landings is an intermediate skill but you will be taught this in Bali towards the end of the course

This Course is an Internationally recognised  program

The course is run by Australian instructors from High Adventure Paragliding with a minimum 20 years experience . We have been teaching every August in Bali since 1998 and have been in the teaching business since 1987. This program fulfills the International Pilot Profficiency level of Pilot level 3

Most students will do in excess of 30 flights and achieve up to 10 hours solo flying. The HGFA requires minimum 1 hour solo for the HGFA license and 30 flights so it exceeds the necessary flight time of the novice rating license.

Theory and a 30 page workbook will also be used on this course , we take no short cuts and ensure that you will have the best possible skills and knowledge. We recommend you become a HGFA member so you have insurance see www.hgfa.asn.au plus travel insurance with Covermore.

We recommend that if you are keen on Paragliding to purchase your Paragliding gear to take to Bali and make a saving of over $600 - $800 on the purchase due to not having to pay the tax on the goods and the discounts we will offer if you take your own gear  to Bali, by getting your gear first you will become familiar with your equipment from Day one.

But if this doesnt suit you we will be supplying  new equipment for the course in Bali as always in any of our courses.

Hi Lee,

I was in Bali the other week when your group was there.

I wasn't part of it but knew a lot of the guys from back home.

As a safety precaution i was on the same channel as yr group.

I wanted to comment on the quality of the instructors there guiding your group.

Over hearing their instructions to new students and rookie pilots i was impressed with the way they conveyed their instruction; calm, concise, direct, clear and caring.

On top of all that watching them at the end of the day sharing a beer and a laugh with the adrenalin filled rookies.

You're fortunate to have them.
